The Effect of Centrifugation Time on Sexing Spermatozoa with Bovine Serum Albumin Media on the Morphology of X-Y Spermatozoa in Simmental Cattle

Sexing and centrifugation of spermatozoa is one way to improve the quality spermatozoa. This study aimed obtain right time for sexing with Bovine Serum Albumin media on morphology X-Y in Simmental cattle. was carried out from October 2021 November at Laboratory Animal Reproduction Health Breeding Center Superior Livestock Forage, Sembawa. The design used this a completely randomized (CRD) 3 treatments 4 replications. Centrifugation BSA P1: minutes, P2: 8 P3: 12 minutes. parameters observed were X Y results showed that spermatozoa—which different (BSA) media—indicates abnormalities had no significant effect (P>0.05) but (P<0.05). result use P1 treatment minutes where value lower layer 28.79%.
